The group went on tour (best represented on The Bootleg Series, Vol. 5), and Dylan collaborated with theater director Jacques Levy. The two wrote much of what became 's Desire, one of Dylan's most commercially successful albums.   1. Desire is great. This album is the culmination of Dylan's evolution from folk-master to rock wizard. The stylistic variety of the songs makes the album infinitely listenable even where the songwriting cannot achieve the mastery of Blonde on Blonde. The songs are all still great and "Hurricane" is of course amazing and touching/5(71).
